I have been blessed to be in Healthcare for the past 17 years.
I started my journey as a Doula and loved the experience tending to mothers during their most vulnerable moments welcoming their bundle into the world.
I then went on to become a medical lab technologist and thoroughly loved the biomedical science and gained a ton of knowledge and experience for over 10 years in biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, histology, and phlebotomy. I am forever grateful for the palpation skills and background knowledge which led me to my next love...manual therapy.
I graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2012. I earned irreplaceable knowledge and was honored to be chosen as Valedictorian of my graduating class.
I was awarded Guelph Mercury's Readers Choice in 2015 as best Massage Therapist in Guelph.
I have a lot of passion for manual therapy and have taken many upgrade courses in craniosacral, TMJ, pelvic mobilization, upper and lower extremities and pre and post natal work. My intuition helps guide me to the areas that need the most work.
On a personal note, I am married to a wonderful partner, have an 8 year old daughter and 2 teenage stepdaughters. And several fur babies. We practice attachment parenting and are so lucky to be on this journey called life....together.
I look forward to gaining new knowledge and imparting my current passion to help patients physically and emotionally.
